Bessie Stringfield...

I got a chance to meet Bessie later in her life and was fortunate to be able call her a true friend. She was person who I admired and respected. My Linda loved her and so did I. Here is a picture of her she had given to me of her on one of her many Harley's. A truely remarkable woman...you owe it to yourself to Google Bessie and read about her unique place in the world of motorcycling.

    She is an amazing woman! I'm glad that Bessie helped blaze the trail for all of us chick riders out there!

    She was also an inspiration for us dudes that ride...She sure was for me. I would have loved to have been riding with her down the highway.
